{"id":5342,"date":"2025-10-06T13:12:28","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T11:12:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/?p=5342"},"modified":"2025-10-07T13:21:53","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T11:21:53","slug":"class-on-mortis-causa-transactions-at-the-university-of-barcelona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/en\/class-on-mortis-causa-transactions-at-the-university-of-barcelona\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Class on MORTIS CAUSA TRANSACTIONS at the University of Barcelona<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3 teaches a class on &#8220;Mortis Causa Transactions&#8221; at the Faculty of Law, University of Barcelona.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Monday, October 6, 2025, the director of Gabarr\u00f3 Advocats Her\u00e8ncies delivered a class on mortis causa transactions \u2014 in other words, <a href=\"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/en\/services\/wills\/\">wills<\/a>, codicils, and testamentary memoranda \u2014 to fourth-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/portal\/web\/law\/\">year Law students at the University of Barcelona<\/a>. A class held from 7 PM to 9 PM with particularly engaged students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Worth highlighting was Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3\u2019s surprise when, in response to an open question posed by the lawyer, the students answered that <strong>in their wills they would <u>exclude<\/u> their designated digital representatives from being able to access or obtain copies of files stored with digital service providers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being in contact with young people brings us closer to a different reality than the one we perceive through our clients, and of course, it makes us more well-rounded.<br>We are grateful to Professor Jaume Tarabal Bosch and the University of Barcelona for continuing to trust our director to share knowledge on inheritance law from the perspective of everyday legal practice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3 teaches a class on &#8220;Mortis Causa Transactions&#8221; at the Faculty of Law, University of Barcelona.
