{"id":5360,"date":"2025-10-08T12:24:54","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T10:24:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/?p=5360"},"modified":"2025-10-09T12:26:32","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T10:26:32","slug":"master-class-with-a-practical-case-in-the-masters-degree-in-law-and-legal-practice-at-the-international-university-of-catalonia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/en\/master-class-with-a-practical-case-in-the-masters-degree-in-law-and-legal-practice-at-the-international-university-of-catalonia\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Master Class with a Practical Case in the Master\u2019s Degree in Law and Legal Practice at the International University of Catalonia<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3 delivers the Master Class on inheritance law in the Master\u2019s Degree in Law and Legal Practice at the International University of Catalonia.<\/strong><br><br>On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3 achieved another goal she had set for herself: expanding her participation in other Master\u2019s programmes in Law, this time at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uic.es\/en\/faculty-law\"><strong>Faculty of Law of the International University of Catalonia.<\/strong><\/a><br><br>She was impressed by the high level of participation from all enrolled students, who had prepared the practical case with great effort and precision \u2014 a case that our director had carefully designed with great dedication during the month of August.<br><br>It was based on a <a href=\"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/en\/services\/wills\/\"><strong>testate succession<\/strong><\/a>, including predecease, survivorship, legacies, prelegacies, institution of heir, vulgar substitutions, fideicommissary substitutions of residue, preventive substitutions of residue, rights of accrual, right of transmission, and even an intestate succession without descendants involving an unregistered de facto couple.<br><br>The session concluded with a final surprise when the fiscal cost of the inheritance tax was revealed according to the resolution of the proposed inheritance.<br><br>Indeed, inheritance law (civil) must necessarily go hand in hand with its<a href=\"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/en\/services\/planificacio-fiscal-successoria\/\"><strong>fiscal (tax) implications.<\/strong><\/a><br><br>Special thanks to Juan Pablo Garrido, Salvador Durany, and the entire community of the International University of Catalonia for including the participation of the director of Gabarr\u00f3 Advocats Her\u00e8ncies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3 delivers the Master Class on inheritance law in the Master\u2019s Degree in Law and Legal Practice at the International University of Catalonia.
