Tax Planning for Succession\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>On Thursday, October 9, 2025, Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3 participated as the sole speaker at the event organized by the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icab.es\/en\/colegi\/comissions-i-seccions\/committee\/Comision-de-Abogados-Seniors\/\">Senior Lawyers Commission of the Barcelona Bar Association<\/a><\/strong>, in collaboration with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intercolegial.cat\/\">Intercollegiate Association of Professional Colleges of Catalonia.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this occasion, the Director of Gabarr\u00f3 Advocats -Inheritance- chose to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705Present <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/en\/services\/managing-inheritance-tax\/\">the key aspects of the inheritance tax in Catalonia<\/a><\/strong>, with specific comparisons to the 1987 national Inheritance Tax Law.<br><br>\u2705Highlight when it is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/en\/services\/planificacio-fiscal-successoria\/\">more beneficial to inherit rather than to donate<\/a><\/strong>, warning about the fiscal cost (Personal Income Tax) of real estate donations.<br><br>\u2705Introduce <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gabarroadvocats.com\/en\/services\/agreements-as-to-succession\/\">inheritance agreements<\/a><\/strong>, illustrating their advantages in certain cases and raising awareness of the need for prudence given the obvious loss of freedom regarding that property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special thanks to the lawyers, doctors, economists, and other professionals, all of them SENIORS, for their attendance and participation in the open Q&amp;A session at the end of the lecture, further enriching the quality of Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3\u2019s explanations.<br><br>And, of course, thanks to Antonio Mart\u00ednez del Hoyo Clemente, President of the Senior Lawyers Commission of the ICAB, and to the esteemed Isabel Mato, member of the Executive Committee of the Senior Lawyers Commission of the ICAB, who has, for years, renewed her trust in the Director of Gabarr\u00f3 Advocats -Inheritance-.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meritxell Gabarr\u00f3 acts as a speaker at the Barcelona Bar Association under the title \u201cLET\u2019S TALK ABOUT INHERITANCES.
